Your Perfect Pokémon Tales: Z-A Mega Evolution According to Your Astrological Sign

This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread enthusiasm within the fandom. Starting with the one-by-one unveiling of fresh additions ahead of the game's launch, to trainers forming strong opinions on the full lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to anticipate.

Given numerous of the Super Forms boasting distinctive designs that highlight their personalities, one idea naturally: What's the best way to connect this with astrology? The following is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was nearly chosen for this fire sign, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Mega Houndoom appears as always furious, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, known for being playful, cheerful, and impulsive. That's why the Ram far more similar to Super Camerupt, which solely erupts when angered. Remain on the friendly side of either and enjoy a strong partner; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.

The Bull – Super Heracross

Similar to a devoted Taurus, the steadfast Heracross species, both in its standard and Super Form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, both the creature and a Bull are also battle-oriented, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will defend their position unwaveringly. What about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unashamed love of treats. Many previous Pokédex entries mention their fondness for tasty sap and how it employs its horn to collect it everything, which is pure Taurus energy.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Look at this absolute queen. You cannot convince me this Pokémon is not the life of every party, offering an endless stream of chatter to anyone who wish to listen. Just like an enrapturing, sociable Gemini, it's very simple to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their tales. This Pokémon's official description also mentions its ability to foresee an opponent's next moves, which sounds quite similar to a people-smart Twins.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

Cancer is widely regarded as the most sensitive member of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol known for often getting absorbed in their feelings. According to the official info, Mega Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's too much for this Pokémon to completely manage,” which sounds a lot like a typical Cancer crash-out. It is also known for its capability to make a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is likely to do, it’s rain on their good time.

Leo – Mega Starmie

Well, did you assume I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the lion of the zodiac? Besides the reality that it would be far too on the nose, Leo is clearly Mega Starmie, the diva whose gams just went viral for being too fabulous (or horrifying, based on your preference). Fans couldn’t look away from the violet sea star, and that’s precisely the same energy a Leo offers to the table. This Pokémon is also said to be transmitting signals from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s typical of a Lion to be staging a show, even if for extraterrestrials.

The Maiden – Mega Victreebel

The always-ready and perpetually-anxious Virgo is ideally represented in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual digestive issues. The zodiac symbol famous for being charmingly judgmental is clearly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a always surprised expression like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its upside-down face that’s just like the symbol a Maiden sends to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than making a plan.

Libra – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, sensitive creature, who uses the feelers on its ears to detect how people are feeling by their pulse. Always compassionate – sometimes to a fault – and striving to keep the harmony, there are numerous Libras who would probably benefit from Super Audino's skills. However, let’s be honest, it would likely just cause them to worry more about others.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly tragic origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained sentient through sheer hatred and swore retribution on its previous caretaker. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds precisely like many conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpion loves karma and comeuppance, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a performance. Being a Sagittarius personally, the amount of times I’ve called myself some version of a “playful little jester” is innumerable. The showiest and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can imagine.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the power to predict calamities in advance? That exudes the exact same energy as a Goat, who often consistently believe they’re correct. Interestingly, much like a prophetic Mega Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute initial Super Form that players meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Goat to get in on the beginning of the Mega trend.

The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure

Detached air sign Aquarius is arguably the non-fire placement that is closest to a flame symbol – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are countless memes about the Archer and Aquarius being unpredictable partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s dual Spirit/Flame typing matches seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's overall daunting aura is also extremely Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s Pokédex entry says it “draws in negative energy and transforms it into strength.” If that fails to perfectly {encaps
