Devoted supporters of the actress are calling for that a individual who jumped a barrier and grabbed the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A circulating clip depicts the Australian man pushing past media personnel and charging at Grande while the cast proceeded down a promenade surrounded by supporters.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being arrested", though court documents indicated that he was set to be present on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

History of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram profile features videos of him disturbing other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney concert in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last winter.

"Measures must be taken applied against him as this is clearly a legal violation," stated an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user remarked.

Fans Show Disapproval Over the Star's Safety

Many supporters accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her May 2017 show in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" said a further response on Instagram.

A number of attendees also criticised event staff at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while some called for social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's content.

Response and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande seemed surprised when she was touched by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Numerous of Singapore supporters had waited to meet the cast of Wicked

Many of fans had congregated in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific debut in a Singapore shopping center, including some who had waited for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The film, to be released on November 21, is the sequel of a dual version of the popular theatrical production Wicked, which centers on the unlikely relationship between two contrasting characters.

The production itself is a adaptation of the twentieth-century children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress decorated with roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful movie of the previous year in the UK, and received a dozen Academy Award nods, winning several for best costume and production design.
