Football Expert Chris Sutton Battles Singer Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
Arsenal's ten-match victorious streak came to an end by Sunderland before the global hiatus, however can the Premier League leaders bounce back against north London rivals Tottenham this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," remarked soccer specialist Chris Sutton.
"Frank will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still manage to win."
The analyst is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this term, versus AI, fans and a range of special visitors.
For the twelfth round, he faces singer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.
Murs' latest album, Knees Up, is available on Friday.
Soccer and Family Life
Murs is a talented footballer as well as a successful singer and has been a featured player of several Soccer Aid matches down the years - but he is not intending a serious return as a player.
"{I actually played in a charity game the other evening for a mate of mine," he explained. "The side was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will!
"I continue to love football, but I injured my joint a few years ago and it even now isn't where I want it to be. I wish I could play more but the uncertainty of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it seriously again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the moment that my child or boy chooses to play instead."
Murs and his wife Amelia Tank have a young family, Madison and their son, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming their manager.
"I won't push football on our children but I've previously told Amelia that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be managing their Saturday football side," he added.
"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously owned a football club for a while too.
"My dad did it with us when I was a child, which is probably where I get it from. He coached our side for several years and had great fun with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Premier League Forecasts
Weekend, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues might have to be patient for Cole Palmer's comeback from fitness issues but their offense is now stronger with Joao Pedro and Delap both back fit.
I still think this fixture will be fairly close, however. Burnley are well organised and their sole home losses so far have been against the Reds and the Gunners.
It suggests a one-all tie to me, but I am actually going to go with Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third league win in a row.
Sutton's prediction: 1-2
Olly's prediction: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have been defeated in their past two games - albeit both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.
On the other hand, West Ham won back-to-back victories before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they do look strong again.
West Ham's sole away victory this season came at Nottingham Forest in August, when West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo was previously Forest manager.
So, what exactly do I go with here - will it be West Ham continuing their streak under Nuno, or the home side bouncing back?
I will choose Bournemouth, because I believe what occurred against Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's forecast: 2-0
Olly's prediction: The home team are doing well but the visitors have picked up under their boss. 2-2
The algorithm's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were seen as one of the frontrunners for relegation before the season began, but they have surprised a few observers under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three wins in their last four matches.
A family member told me to get Brentford forward Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer team a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I ignored the advice.
Thiago will probably find the net again on Saturday but I am still not going to select him or back Brentford at Amex Stadium.
The Bees have not had much fortune on the travel this term, and the Seagulls are consistently strong at their stadium. The visitors will attempt to hit them on the counter-attack but I think the home manager's team carry much more of a threat.
Sutton's forecast: 2-1
Olly's view: This could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of scores but it in reality proves to be rather close. 1-1
The computer's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a massive game for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six matches.
They have got lots of talent in their squad but it nonetheless feels like they could be dragged into a drop zone battle.
As for the Black Cats, well they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.
Their display in the 2-2 draw with the Gunners last time out was superb. We've not witnessed anyone else disrupt the Gunners like that this season, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.
The logical choice would be to back the Black Cats here, because they are clearly able of roughing the hosts up too and, the previous occasion they were in this part of London, they defeated the Blues at the close of October.
But I am not going to do that. Rather, I really need to continue opposing Sunderland with my forecasts. I am taking a lot of credit for their good results because they clearly enjoy to defy my predictions.
Considering Fulham's home form, the only side they have lost to is Arsenal. Their manager's team will be absolutely desperate for a good outcome, so I am going to predict they will pick up three points.
Sutton's forecast: 1-0
Olly's choice: I'm aware Sunderland are doing well and additionally that the hosts are on a poor streak... but they have still been decent at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
AI's prediction: 2-0

It is a tough fixture to call. Liverpool have lost seven of their past 10 matches in all competitions, but might they be among the sides who benefit from the {international break|
